Taverna powers the BioVeL demo at EGI Community Forum
At the May 2014 EGI Community Forum, Yuliya Fetyukova from the BioVel project, http://www.biovel.eu, demonstrated their portal, http://portal.biovel.eu, running biodiversity-related Taverna workflows that use services installed on the EGI FedCloud.
The portal uses a Taverna Player to run workflows on a Taverna Server engine. Users can interact with a running workflow using Taverna's Interaction Service.
During the forum, workflows showed ecological niche modelling and statistical analysis in R of the projected species distributions.
