There are several Taverna 1.7.x tutorials available online, a general tutorial and one specifically tailored for bioinformaticians.
A tutorial in Japanese on Taverna 1.5 has been produced by the National Institute of Genetics, Japan. The tutorial is available in PDF. The tutorial shows how to construct and run workflows, using the DNA Databank of Japan services as examples. Although designed for Taverna 1.5 the tutorial is still relevant to later versions of Taverna 1.
