The Taverna team are pleased to announce of the release of two renderer plugins for Taverna Workbench 2.2, developed by Peter Li.

The PDF renderer plugin enables you to view the result PDF documents inside the Workbench in a built-in PDF viewer.

The HTML renderer plugin fires-up a Web browser and displays the result HTML document. The old HTML renderer that displays HTML documents inside the Workbench is still available.

To install the plugins in Taverna Workbench 2.2, go to “Advanced” -> “Updates and plugins” in the Workbench, and click the “Find new plugins” button. Tick the boxes for “ICE PDF Renderer Plugin” and the “Web Browser Plugin” and then click “Install”. You will need to restart Taverna to see the plugins’ functionality.

Note that the plugins will be integrated in the next Taverna Workbench 2.3 release so there will be no need to install them separately.
